Renting a wheel loader, crane or backhoe loader anywhere in the UAE usually means calling five rental companies and comparing five quotes by phone. EquipmentsFinder replaces that with one place to look. Today 2,980 machines are listed for hire across the UAE from 442 suppliers, 9 of them verified. Browse by category, or post what you need, and suppliers respond directly with rates, availability and delivery terms.
EquipmentsFinder is a marketplace, not a rental yard. It connects equipment suppliers across the UAE with the contractors, developers and site managers who hire from them, in three steps.
Renters pay nothing and no commission is added to the supplier's price. Suppliers list for free and can pay for plans that give their listings more visibility. The open requests on the inquiry board are real, current demand, which is why suppliers answer them quickly.
The largest categories today are cranes (556 listings), excavators (357), aerial platforms (255), lifting equipment (247), trucks (239) and wheel loaders (214). Caterpillar, JCB, Volvo, Komatsu and Liebherr are the most common makes, and 2018 to 2020 the most frequently listed model years.
From mini excavators for tight residential plots to large crawler machines for earthworks and infrastructure, the 357 excavators listed are described by size and reach so capacity can be matched to the job.
Wheel loaders for material handling, site clearance and loading trucks, with 214 currently listed, hired by the day for short jobs and by the month for ongoing site work.
The biggest category on the platform, with 556 listings, of which 427 are mobile cranes and 62 crawler cranes, each listed with capacity and boom length.
Forklifts are the largest group within lifting equipment, with 226 listed in a range of capacities for warehouse, yard and site handling.
Backhoe loaders combine digging and loading on smaller sites, a common choice for utility trenching, landscaping and general building work. There are 130 listed today.
Motor graders for road base preparation, site levelling and fine grading ahead of paving, with 71 currently listed.
Bulldozers for bulk earthmoving, site clearance and rough grading on larger projects. There are 80 listed across the UAE.
Compact skid steers for tight-access sites, landscaping and light handling where a full-size loader will not fit. There are 117 listed.
Rollers and compactors for road base, sub-base and soil compaction, with 124 listed, 101 of them road rollers.
Diesel generators for temporary power and air compressors for pneumatic tools are smaller categories, so a request is often the quickest route.
Boom lifts (100 listed) and scissor lifts (67) for work at height, plus manlifts, within a category of 255 machines.
Flatbed, lowbed and specialised trailers for moving equipment between sites. Of the 139 listed, 70 are flatbeds and 47 lowbeds.
Tipper and transport trucks for hauling material, equipment and site waste. There are 239 listed, including 55 tippers.
Pricing is not fixed by the platform. Each supplier sets its own rate and shows it on the listing or in the quote. Rentals are typically daily for short jobs, weekly for projects running a week or two at a lower daily equivalent, or monthly for ongoing site work, where suppliers offer their best rates.
Across all categories, 134 listings currently publish a daily rate, typically around AED 1,000 a day and up to AED 14,000. Monthly rates appear on 145 listings, typically around AED 14,000 and up to AED 200,000. These figures span everything from a plate compactor to a crawler crane, so the category page is the better guide for a specific machine.
When requesting a quote, ask whether the rate includes an operator or is dry hire (machine only), and whether delivery and collection are charged separately. Currently 21 listings state that an operator is offered. Fuel, insurance and VAT also vary by supplier.
The 442 suppliers listing equipment today range from single-machine owners to large fleet operators. Nine currently carry the verified badge, which means EquipmentsFinder has checked the business behind the store page. Every store page shows the supplier's fleet, location and direct contact details. Verified status is a useful filter when a job is large or urgent, but unverified suppliers respond to requests too, and many have full fleets listed.
Dubai has the largest share, with 1,256 machines currently available for hire, almost all in Dubai city. See equipment rental in Dubai for those listings.
Abu Dhabi emirate has 622 listings today, 586 of them based in Musaffah, the industrial area that serves most of the capital's projects.
Sharjah emirate is the second largest market on the platform, with 883 listings: 726 in Sharjah city and 154 in Adh Dhayd.
Ras Al Khaimah has 81 listings, Fujairah 76 (73 in Al Fujairah City), Ajman 51 and Umm Al Quwain 11. Suppliers from Dubai and Sharjah also deliver here; confirm coverage in the quote request.
Contractors and site managers fill short-term equipment gaps without buying or maintaining a machine. Main contractors source specific equipment, such as a mobile crane for one lift, without committing to one supplier's rate card. Rental businesses cover a client's need outside their own fleet, and list their own equipment. Anyone weighing hire against purchase can compare the same machine types on the equipment for sale side of the site.
Post an equipment request with the machine type, location and dates, and suppliers will reply with quotes. Or pick a category above and contact a supplier from the listing.
Post what you need on the inquiry board, giving the equipment type, location and rental duration, or browse a category directly. Suppliers respond with their own quotes, and you deal with them directly on delivery, operator arrangements and final pricing. EquipmentsFinder charges renters nothing and takes no commission on the hire.
For short-term or one-off projects, renting is usually cheaper once maintenance, storage and depreciation on a purchased machine are counted. For equipment used continuously over several years, buying can work out cheaper. EquipmentsFinder lists the same machine types for sale, so both options can be compared for a given category before deciding.
Suppliers typically need the equipment type and specification, the job location, how long the machine is needed and whether an operator is required. Having these ready when posting a request speeds up the quotes that come back. For the hire itself, suppliers set their own paperwork requirements, usually a trade licence copy and a signed hire agreement.
Yes. Daily hire is available across most equipment categories, though the rate per day is usually higher than a weekly or monthly booking. Of the listings that publish prices, 134 state a daily rate today. Confirm daily availability and any minimum hire period directly with the supplier when requesting a quote.
It depends on the supplier and the equipment. Some quotes are for the machine only (dry hire) and others include an operator. Currently 21 listings state that an operator is offered. Ask directly when comparing quotes, since an operator changes the total cost significantly, and any operator must hold a valid licence for the machine class.
Verified suppliers carry a badge on their listings and store page, which means EquipmentsFinder has checked the business behind the account. Nine suppliers are currently verified. Store pages for every supplier show the current fleet, location and direct contact details, so even an unverified supplier can be checked before a booking is made.
Suppliers on the platform cover Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. Stock is largest in Dubai, Sharjah and Musaffah in Abu Dhabi. Delivery area and transport cost vary by supplier, so confirm coverage and the delivery charge for the specific site location when requesting a quote.
This is agreed directly with the supplier as part of the hire terms. Most suppliers handle breakdowns and routine maintenance during the rental period, and some will swap the machine, but terms vary. Ask how breakdowns are handled, and who pays for downtime, before the booking is confirmed.
Yes. Suppliers can create a store page, list their fleet for free and respond to open equipment requests directly. Paid plans are available for suppliers who want more visibility for their listings, but a basic listing costs nothing and includes the supplier's phone and WhatsApp contact.
