71 motor graders are currently listed for hire across the UAE from 51 suppliers, 1 of them verified. Dubai holds the largest share with 34 listings, followed by Sharjah Emirate with 21 and Abu Dhabi Emirate with 13, and the fleet is dominated by Caterpillar, which accounts for 62 of the 71 machines. Browse the listings above, or go straight to the Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi page to see what is parked nearby.
A motor grader is the machine that turns rough fill into a finished surface: it cuts and spreads road base to level and camber, trims sub-grade on building plots, and maintains unpaved haul roads and desert tracks. The page below covers the grader classes on offer, how to pick blade width and horsepower, what hire currently costs and how to get one on site quickly. Other road machines are on the rental hub.
Each listing is posted by the supplier who owns the grader, with the blade width, model, year and location, and a phone and WhatsApp number to reach them directly. EquipmentsFinder charges the renter nothing and adds no commission; the price agreed with the supplier is the price paid. Suppliers list free and can pay for plans that raise their visibility.
The listing filters narrow the 71 graders by emirate, brand and price. Several model years are represented, 2012 being the most common among listings that state one, with older machines from 1997, 2000 and 1990 also on offer, so check the hours and condition photos before shortlisting. If nothing fits, a posted request goes to suppliers across the UAE rather than one yard.
Graders are grouped by blade width and engine power, which together set how much material a pass can move and how wide a strip it finishes.
Small graders carry a blade around three metres wide with modest horsepower and suit compound roads, car parks, plot levelling and the maintenance of access tracks inside a site. They are easier to move between jobs and fit where a full-size grader would struggle to turn.
Medium graders, roughly three and a half to four metres of blade, are the general-purpose class and the usual choice for sub-base and base course spreading on internal roads, infrastructure plots and industrial estates. This is the class most contractors in the UAE ask for by default.
Large graders with a four-metre-plus blade and high horsepower are specified for highway earthworks, airport pavements and mining haul roads, where the volume of material and the required tolerances justify a heavier machine. Availability is tighter, so these are worth requesting early.
Blade width should cover the finished strip in as few passes as practical: a single-lane base course wants a medium machine, a dual carriageway a large one. Horsepower matters when cutting hard or compacted material, or when ripping with the rear-mounted scarifier; a small grader will spread loose fill well but struggle to cut established ground.
Ask the supplier about grade control. Graders fitted with 2D or 3D machine control reach the specified levels in fewer passes and need less surveying, which saves time on contracts with tight tolerances. Confirm tyre condition too, and whether a front blade or scarifier is fitted, as both are often listed as options rather than standard.
Among the graders listed today, 5 publish a daily rate and all of them show AED 1,500 per day, so that figure is the current going rate for a standard machine without extras. Monthly rates are published on 5 listings and run from AED 22,000 to AED 36,000, with a typical rate around AED 24,000; the spread reflects blade size, machine age and whether an operator is bundled in.
Most suppliers prefer to quote for the specific job, so the remaining listings show rates on request. When comparing quotes, confirm what the figure covers: operator, fuel, delivery to site and VAT are handled differently from one supplier to the next, and a low headline rate can carry a separate transport charge.
Listings are spread across five emirates, so most sites in the UAE have a grader within a short haul.
Dubai has 34 graders listed, 33 of them based in Dubai city, serving the emirate's infrastructure, logistics and residential developments. The Dubai motor grader page shows them on their own.
Abu Dhabi Emirate lists 13 graders, all in Musaffah, the industrial district where most of the capital's plant yards are concentrated. See the Abu Dhabi page for those listings.
Sharjah Emirate lists 21 graders: 18 in Sharjah city and 3 in Adh Dhayd, which serves projects in the central and eastern parts of the emirate. The Sharjah page lists them.
Ajman Emirate has 2 graders listed and Ras Al Khaimah 1. No graders are listed in Fujairah or Umm Al Quwain today; sites there are usually served from Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah, with transport added to the quote.
If none of the 71 listings matches the job, post a request stating the blade width, whether an operator is needed, the site location and the dates. Suppliers across the UAE who can meet it respond with quotes, and the request also appears on the inquiry board where suppliers look for work. Posting is free and no commission is taken on the hire that follows.

The 5 listings that publish a daily rate all show AED 1,500 per day. Monthly rates are published on 5 listings and run from AED 22,000 to AED 36,000, with a typical rate of around AED 24,000. Other suppliers quote on request, and a figure may or may not include an operator, fuel, delivery and VAT, so confirm each item before agreeing.
A medium grader with a blade of roughly three and a half to four metres handles most road base and site grading in the UAE, and it is the class suppliers stock most. Small graders suit compound roads and plot levelling; large graders with a four-metre-plus blade are for highway and airport work where volume and tolerances demand it.
It depends on the supplier and is stated on the listing or confirmed on contact. Currently 1 of the 71 listings offers an operator as part of the hire. An operator must hold a valid licence for the machine class, and a grader operator's skill decides the finish, so ask about experience with grade control if the contract has tight level tolerances.
Some suppliers will hire a grader for a single day, especially in Dubai where several are listed, but transport to and from site is charged on top and can match the daily rate. For a one-day job, say so in the enquiry and ask for an all-in figure. Weekly and monthly hire is the norm for road contracts.
Listings today come from five emirates: Dubai has 34, Sharjah Emirate 21, Abu Dhabi Emirate 13, Ajman Emirate 2 and Ras Al Khaimah 1. Suppliers normally travel beyond their own emirate for a transport charge based on distance, so the yard location on the listing is the best guide to which machine is nearest the site.
Caterpillar accounts for 62 of the 71 graders listed, which also makes parts and experienced operators easy to find. Champion has 3 listings, and Komatsu, Shantui and Volvo have 1 each. Brand matters less than the blade width, horsepower and condition of the specific machine, so compare those on the listing before deciding.
