128 cranes are listed for sale in the UAE today, offered by 37 suppliers, 4 of them verified. Most of the stock sits in Sharjah (92 listings), with 32 in Dubai and 4 in Abu Dhabi's Musaffah industrial area. The range covers mobile, truck-mounted, 4×4 rough-terrain and crawler cranes from Kato, XCMG, Sany, Tadano, Zoomlion, Liebherr, Kobelco and Terex.
Every listing shows the seller's phone and WhatsApp number, so a buyer deals with the owner or dealer directly. EquipmentsFinder charges buyers nothing and takes no commission on the sale. Cranes are also available to hire on the crane rental page, and the buy hub covers every other category.
Start with the listings grid above this text. Filter by crane type, brand, capacity, year and emirate, then open a listing to see the photos, the specification and the asking price where the seller has published one. Listings without a price are marked price on request, and the seller quotes when contacted.
Contact goes straight to the seller by phone or WhatsApp. There is no booking form, no deposit held by the marketplace and no fee on either side of the deal. Verified suppliers have had their trade licence and contact details checked by EquipmentsFinder, which is worth weighting when two similar machines are on offer.
Mobile cranes are the largest group, with 56 listed. The term covers hydraulic telescopic-boom cranes on a wheeled carrier that drive between sites under their own power. Capacities on the listings run from compact units for steel erection and precast work up to heavy machines for plant installation. Kato and Tadano account for most of the Japanese-built stock; XCMG, Sany and Zoomlion supply most of the newer Chinese-built units.
23 4×4 cranes are listed. A rough-terrain crane sits on a short two-axle chassis with large tyres and four-wheel steer, built for sand, soft ground and tight compounds rather than road travel. All-terrain cranes add road speed to off-road axles and are usually larger. In the Emirates the rough-terrain unit is the usual choice for refineries, port yards and fenced compounds where the crane stays on one site.
34 truck cranes are for sale. A truck crane is a telescopic boom on a commercial truck chassis, so it travels at road speed between jobs and needs no low-loader. Buyers who serve several sites a week, or who do delivery lifting such as placing generators and portacabins, usually choose this type.
14 crawler cranes are listed, with Kobelco and Liebherr among the brands. Tracks spread the load and let the crane travel with a suspended load, so crawlers suit piling, bridge and long-duration lifts. They must be trailered between sites, and a lift plan is needed for crane work on any construction site.
A single gantry crane is listed today. Tower cranes and spider (mini) cranes are not currently listed for sale on EquipmentsFinder; a purchase request for either reaches the dealers who stock them.
Rated capacity is the load at minimum radius with the boom nearly vertical, so it is rarely the number that matters. Work out the heaviest load, the radius from the crane centre to the hook at the set-down point and the lift height, then read the load chart for that configuration. A 50-tonne crane may manage only a few tonnes at 30 metres.
Add the hook block, slings and spreader beam to the load and leave a margin. For regular work with mixed loads, buy the capacity that handles the heaviest routine lift at its usual radius; the one-off heavy lift can be hired.
Contractors buy mobile and crawler cranes for structural steel, precast concrete and bridge work. Logistics operators at the ports run rough-terrain and truck cranes for container and project cargo. Oil and gas maintenance firms in Abu Dhabi keep rough-terrain cranes on long plant contracts. Crane hire companies are themselves frequent buyers, adding used units to their fleets as demand grows.
Of the 128 crane listings, 26 show an asking price. The typical asking price is around AED 402,500, and the highest is AED 2,100,000 for a large-capacity machine. Sellers who have not published a price quote on request, so ask the seller for a quote.
Price follows capacity, age, hours and brand. Listed build years span 1994 to 2025. Asking prices normally exclude VAT, transport and any load-test certification, so confirm all three with the seller before agreeing a figure.
32 cranes are listed in Dubai. The Dubai crane page filters the grid to that stock.
4 cranes are listed in Abu Dhabi, all in Musaffah. Browse them on the Abu Dhabi crane page.
Sharjah holds 92 of the 128 listings, the largest concentration in the country, because the emirate's industrial areas house most of the used-crane dealers. The Sharjah crane page lists them.
No cranes are listed in these four emirates today. Sharjah stock is within an hour's drive of Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah, and a purchase request reaches sellers across the whole UAE.
If the right crane is not in the grid, post a purchase request with the capacity, boom length, preferred brands and budget. Sellers across the UAE see it on the inquiry board and reply directly, at no cost to the buyer.

Of the 128 cranes listed today, 26 carry an asking price. The typical figure is around AED 402,500, and the most expensive listing is AED 2,100,000. Capacity, build year, hours and brand drive the spread. Prices usually exclude VAT, delivery and load testing, and sellers who have not published a price quote on request by phone or WhatsApp.
Match the type to how the crane will be used. A truck crane for frequent road moves between sites, a rough-terrain 4×4 crane for a single compound or yard, a crawler for piling and long lifts, and a mobile telescopic crane for general construction. Then size it from the load chart at the working radius, not from the headline tonnage.
Used cranes dominate the UAE market and make sense for most contractors, as long as the hours, boom condition and load-test history are documented. A new crane suits an operator who needs warranty cover and the latest safety systems for a long contract. Listed build years run from 1994 to 2025, so both routes are open on EquipmentsFinder today.
Yes, and it is expected. Arrange a visit through the contact details on the listing and bring a crane engineer or an experienced operator. Check the boom sections for straightness, the slew ring, the outrigger cylinders, hoist ropes and the load moment indicator, and ask to see the machine lift a known weight.
Sellers typically provide a sale invoice, a copy of their trade licence and the crane's ownership papers. A truck crane that is road-registered also needs its registration transferred, which the seller can explain for their emirate. Confirm that the chassis number on the papers matches the machine before paying.
Kato leads with 23 listings, followed by XCMG with 20, Sany with 19 and Tadano with 15. Zoomlion has 10, and Liebherr, Kobelco and Terex have 5 each. Japanese brands dominate the used mobile and truck crane stock, while the Chinese brands supply most of the newer machines.
Yes. Many of the same suppliers offer cranes for hire by the day or month, which is often the better choice for a single heavy lift or a short project. The crane rental section of EquipmentsFinder lists hire stock across the UAE with the same direct contact details.
