65 wheel loaders are listed for sale in the UAE today from 25 sellers, 3 of them verified. Caterpillar (28) and Komatsu (22) between them account for most of the page, with Volvo (7), Case (2) and single listings from JCB, Kubota, Lovol and Zoom. Sharjah holds 55 of the 65 machines and Dubai the other 10.
A wheel loader is the workhorse of every quarry, batching plant, aggregate yard and large earthworks site in the UAE, loading trucks, feeding hoppers and moving sand all day. The listings on this page include machines from the late 1980s and 1990s as well as newer units, so the page serves both the buyer who needs a cheap yard loader and the contractor replacing a front-line machine. Wheel loaders for hire cover shorter needs.
Each loader is advertised by its seller, whether a contractor, a quarry operator or a Sharjah machinery trader, with photos, year, hours, bucket size and location, and the seller's phone and WhatsApp number. Buyers browse free, compare and deal directly with the seller; EquipmentsFinder charges buyers nothing and takes no commission. Sellers list at no cost and can pay for plans that promote their stock; the verified badge shows that the seller's trade licence and contact details have been checked. The buy hub links to the other equipment categories.
The listings are not divided into subcategories, so use the model code to place a machine: Caterpillar 9xx and Komatsu WA numbers rise with size, from compact through mid-size to the large quarry classes.
Machines under about 8 tonnes operating weight with buckets of 0.8 to 1.5 cubic metres, from the JCB, Kubota and smaller Caterpillar ranges. They work inside warehouses, on landscaping jobs, in villa construction and in yards where turning space is limited, and they can travel on a small trailer.
The 12 to 20 tonne class with 2.5 to 4 cubic metre buckets, which includes the Caterpillar 950 and 966 and the Komatsu WA380 and WA470 that make up much of this page. These load tippers at batching plants, aggregate depots and site stockpiles and are the most common loader on UAE construction sites.
Above 20 tonnes with buckets of 5 cubic metres or more, the Caterpillar 980 and 988 class and Komatsu WA500 and larger. These are quarry and crusher-feeding machines that fill a tipper in three or four passes, and they come to market when a quarry or crushing contractor renews its fleet.
Size the loader to the truck it will load: a 20 cubic metre tipper filled in four to five passes needs a 4 to 5 cubic metre bucket on a mid-size or large machine, while a batching plant hopper may only need a 2.5 cubic metre bucket on a smaller loader. Bucket capacity should be checked against the material density; a bucket sized for sand will overload the loader on crushed rock. On a used machine, inspect the articulation and pivot pins for play, the boom and bucket cylinders for scoring and drift, the transmission for slipping between gears, the brakes, the tyres (a set for a large loader is a significant cost) and the bucket edge and teeth. Compare the hour meter with wear on the pedals, seat and steps.
A general-purpose bucket comes with most machines, but a quick coupler opens up pallet forks for block and steel handling, a high-dump or light-material bucket for sand and screenings, a rock bucket with heavier teeth for quarry work, and a grapple for logs, scrap and demolition material. Ask the seller which attachments are included in the sale and whether the coupler is a standard pattern, since a second bucket or a set of forks adds to what the machine can do and to its value.
14 of the 65 wheel loaders listed today carry a published price. Asking prices currently run from AED 49,900 to AED 755,000, with a typical figure around AED 287,500. Older 1980s and 1990s machines from the trader yards sit at the lower end, mid-size Caterpillar and Komatsu loaders with moderate hours around the typical figure, and late-model large loaders at the top.
Prices are set by each seller and often exclude VAT, loading and transport. A large loader needs a low-bed to move, so agree who arranges and pays for haulage from Sharjah or Dubai to site before the deal is closed.
10 wheel loaders are listed in Dubai today; see the wheel loaders for sale in Dubai page. Dubai sellers are usually contractors and ready-mix companies selling fleet machines.
With 55 of the 65 listings, Sharjah is the centre of the UAE's used-loader trade. The yards in its industrial areas hold several Caterpillar and Komatsu loaders side by side, which makes comparing machines on the same day straightforward. Browse the Sharjah wheel loaders page.
No wheel loaders are listed in these emirates at present, although the quarries of Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah run large fleets. The Abu Dhabi page will show stock as it is posted, and a posted request reaches sellers across the country.
If the 65 loaders listed today do not include the right size, brand or year, post a request with the bucket capacity, operating weight class and delivery emirate. Sellers across the UAE reply directly with machines and prices, and the buyer pays nothing for the service.

Based on the 14 priced listings today, wheel loaders are advertised from AED 49,900 to AED 755,000, with a typical asking price around AED 287,500. Machines from the 1980s and 1990s are at the low end, and late-model large quarry loaders at the top. Confirm with the seller whether VAT and transport are included in the figure.
Match the bucket to the trucks or hopper being loaded and to the material density. A mid-size machine with a 2.5 to 4 cubic metre bucket covers batching plants and general site work; a large loader with 5 cubic metres or more is for quarries and crushers; a compact loader suits yards, warehouses and landscaping where space is tight.
New loaders come with a warranty, current emissions engines and dealer support, but at a price that needs years of steady work to justify. The used machines here, which include many Caterpillar and Komatsu units from the 1980s onward, are much cheaper and available at once; the condition of the transmission, pins, tyres and cylinders decides whether the saving is real.
Yes. Arrange a visit through the phone or WhatsApp number on the listing. Start the engine cold, drive the machine in every gear forward and reverse, lift and curl a loaded bucket, test the brakes and steering, and check the articulation joint and all pins for play. A mechanic's inspection is worthwhile on a loader at this price level.
Wheel loaders are plant rather than registered road vehicles, so the sale is usually completed with a signed sale agreement or invoice quoting the serial number, the seller's trade licence copy and proof of payment. Ask for any original import or customs documents and the service history. Agree in writing what attachments, VAT and transport are included.
Caterpillar leads with 28 of the 65 listings and Komatsu follows with 22, so the two brands make up more than three quarters of the page. Volvo has 7 listings, Case 2, and JCB, Kubota, Lovol and Zoom 1 each. Parts and service for Caterpillar and Komatsu loaders are the easiest to find across the emirates.
