Need equipment? Have equipment?
Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No concrete batching plants are listed in Abu Dhabi today. A batching plant is hired when a project is too far from a ready-mix supplier, or pours too much concrete, to rely on trucks, and such hires are usually arranged well in advance. Post a request with the output needed and the site; it reaches verified suppliers across the UAE, including those that do not advertise plants on the grid. The concrete batching plants rental page shows national stock, and the Dubai and Sharjah pages are the nearest to check. Other categories in the emirate are on the Abu Dhabi hire hub.
A batching plant request needs more detail than most: the hourly or daily output in cubic metres, the mix designs expected, the hire length, and the site, whether a remote stretch of road towards Ruwais, a plot in KIZAD or a development in Al Ain. Suppliers reply with the plant they can offer, the transport and erection cost, and what the hire includes.
Trailer-mounted plants that fold for transport and set up without civil works. They are the usual hire choice for a project of a few months and move with the work, which suits linear jobs such as roads and pipelines in the western region.
Fixed plants with larger aggregate storage, cement silos and higher output, erected on prepared foundations. They suit a long contract or a precast yard, and the erection and dismantling cost is a bigger part of the hire.
Small plants for villa projects, remote maintenance works and sites where daily volumes are low. They need little space and can run from a single generator, which matters where mains power is not yet connected.
Work out the largest single pour and the average daily volume. The plant's rated output in cubic metres per hour must cover the peak pour within the time the concrete stays workable, which in the Abu Dhabi summer is short unless the mix is designed for it. Allow for aggregate and cement deliveries keeping pace, and for water and ice supply in hot weather.
With no Abu Dhabi listings, there is no published rate to quote. Batching plants are priced by the month, often with a mobilisation charge covering transport, erection and commissioning, and a demobilisation charge at the end. Whether a plant operator, maintenance, spares and VAT are included varies by supplier and is confirmed when you contact them.
When listings appear here, each will carry the supplier's base, with Mussafah the most likely, and Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain, KIZAD and Ruwais the other areas named. Until then, a request stating the site is the way to find suppliers willing to mobilise a plant there.
Requests are read by suppliers across the UAE on the inquiry board, and replies come directly to the hirer. Suppliers with a plant to hire out in Abu Dhabi can list it free.
No batching plant is listed in Abu Dhabi at the moment, so no published rate exists for the emirate. Plants are usually priced per month plus mobilisation and demobilisation charges for transport, erection and commissioning. Ask each supplier to state what the monthly figure covers, including operator, maintenance and VAT, and compare the replies to a posted request.
Size the plant to the largest single pour and the average daily volume, in cubic metres per hour. A mobile plant suits a project of months that may move; a stationary plant suits a long contract or a precast yard; a compact plant suits villa work and low daily volumes. The supplier will advise once the pour schedule is known.
That varies by supplier and is confirmed when you contact them. A batching plant needs a trained operator to run the control system and keep the mix within specification, and some suppliers include one while others expect the hirer to provide the crew. Make the requirement clear in the request so the quotes are comparable.
Not in practice. Mobilising a plant involves transport, erection and commissioning, so hires run for weeks or months at least. For a single large pour, ready-mix concrete delivered by truck is normally the better option, and a batching plant is considered only where the site is remote or the volume is sustained.
There is no Abu Dhabi stock listed today, so coverage cannot be stated. Suppliers elsewhere in the UAE decide per project whether to mobilise to Abu Dhabi city, Mussafah, KIZAD, Al Ain or Ruwais, and remote sites in the western region are the ones where a plant hire makes most sense. State the site in the request so suppliers can price the mobilisation.
A level, compacted area for the plant and aggregate stockpiles, access for cement tankers and aggregate tippers, a water supply, and power from the grid or a generator. In hot weather, ice or chilled water may be needed to control the mix temperature. The supplier will list the site requirements when quoting, and preparing them in advance shortens commissioning.
