Need equipment? Have equipment?
Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No container stackers are listed for hire in Abu Dhabi today. The category covers reach stackers, laden container handlers and empty container handlers, the machines that move shipping containers around ports, inland depots and large laydown yards. Stock in the UAE moves between emirates as contracts change, so the position here can change quickly.
In the meantime, posting a request reaches verified suppliers across the whole market, including those in Dubai and the Northern Emirates who serve Abu Dhabi jobs. The UAE container stacker page shows everything currently listed nationally, and the Dubai and Sharjah pages cover those emirates. The Abu Dhabi rental hub has forklifts and cranes that handle lighter container work.
When listings appear here, each will show the machine's lift capacity, stacking height, brand and year, with the supplier's phone and WhatsApp on the listing. Equipment Finders charges renters nothing and takes no commission. Until then, a request with the container type, the number of moves per day, the stacking height and the yard location gives suppliers what they need to quote.
Built to lift empty containers only, usually by the top corner castings, and to stack them high in depots where density matters more than reach. The lightest and cheapest machine in the category.
Heavy forklift-style handlers rated for full containers, used at Khalifa Port and in the KIZAD logistics zone to move loaded boxes between trucks and the ground.
A telescopic boom lets a reach stacker place loaded containers two or three rows deep from a single lane, which is why they are the usual choice in inland depots and on large project laydown areas such as those around Ruwais.
Match the rated capacity to the heaviest container being moved: a loaded 40-foot box needs a laden handler or reach stacker, while a depot handling only empties can use a lighter machine. Then check how many rows deep the yard stacks containers, because reach stackers lose capacity with every row of reach. Ground must be paved and strong enough for the axle loads, which is a point to confirm for temporary yards in Mussafah and Al Dhafra.
With no listings in the emirate there are no rates to quote. When they appear, rates are set by each supplier and shown on the listing where published, usually as a monthly figure. Delivery of a container stacker needs a heavy low-bed, so transport, operator, fuel and VAT should each be confirmed with the supplier when the quote is made.
Demand sits in the KIZAD and Khalifa Port area, the Mussafah and ICAD yards, and the oil and gas laydown areas around Ruwais. No supplier is listed in any of those areas today; a request with the yard location lets suppliers already working nearby reply first.
There are no container stacker listings in Abu Dhabi today, so no rate can be quoted for the emirate. When suppliers list here, the rate will be shown on the listing where published, usually monthly. Posting a request with the capacity, duration and yard location is the way to get quotes now, and transport and operator are normally extra.
An empty container handler is enough for a depot of empties stacked high. Loaded boxes need a laden handler for truck-to-ground moves or a reach stacker where containers are stacked several rows deep. Give the supplier the heaviest container, the stacking height and the number of rows, and the machine class follows from those three figures.
It varies by supplier and will be stated on the listing or agreed when the supplier is contacted. Operators need a valid licence for the machine class, and many yards require the supplier's own trained operator because of the loads involved. Ask whether the operator's hours and overtime are inside the rate.
Some suppliers will hire for a day or two, for example to clear a backlog at a depot, but the low-bed transport each way is the same as for a month, so short hire is expensive per day. A machine already working at a nearby yard is the practical option for a one-day job.
No supplier is listed in Abu Dhabi today. Suppliers elsewhere in the UAE do serve KIZAD, Mussafah and Ruwais, with transport charged by distance on a heavy low-bed. A posted request with the yard location and the hire length reaches those suppliers directly and lets them quote with transport included.
For empty 20-foot containers a large forklift with a container spreader can manage ground-level moves, and the Abu Dhabi hub lists forklifts today. Loaded containers and any stacking above ground level need a purpose-built handler or reach stacker, both for capacity and for stability.
