A scissor lift raises a flat platform straight up on crossed supports. It is used for work at height indoors and outdoors: fitting ceilings and lighting, ductwork, cladding, painting, maintenance in warehouses and mall atriums. Electric units are quiet, emission-free and suited to indoor floors. Diesel or engine-driven units handle rough outdoor ground and slopes better. The listing usually names the drive type. Ask the supplier about ground conditions on your site before you decide.
