Need equipment? Have equipment?
Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No containers are listed for hire in Abu Dhabi today. This category is for storage containers, site office cabins, refrigerated units and converted boxes used as workshops, canteens and guard rooms on construction sites, farms and event grounds across the emirate.
A request posted on Equipment Finders reaches verified suppliers across the whole UAE, many of whom deliver to Abu Dhabi from Dubai and Sharjah. Post a request with the size, number of units and delivery address. The UAE container rental page lists what is available nationally, and the Dubai and Sharjah pages cover those emirates. Other site equipment in the emirate is on the Abu Dhabi rental hub.
Container hire is simpler than machine hire: the supplier delivers the unit on a side-loader or a flatbed with a crane, sets it on level ground or blocks, and collects it when the hire ends. When listings appear here they will show the size, condition and fit-out, and the supplier's phone and WhatsApp numbers. There is no charge to the renter and no commission. Until then a request with the unit type, quantity, delivery location and hire length is enough for a quote.
Standard 20-foot and 40-foot dry boxes for tools, materials and archives. The most common hire on construction sites in Mussafah, KIZAD and the island developments.
Insulated units with windows, split air conditioning, lighting and power points, used as site offices, meeting rooms and labour rest areas. Toilet and ablution units are often hired with them.
Reefer units for food, pharmaceuticals and catering at events, and for cold storage overflow in Al Ain and the farms of Al Dhafra. They need a reliable power supply, often a generator on remote sites.
Workshops, guard rooms, canteens, first-aid rooms and kiosks built inside a container shell. Lead times are longer because the fit-out is often made to order.
A 20-foot unit fits most compounds and can be placed by a side-loader in a tight space; a 40-foot unit holds twice the volume but needs a longer level pad and more room for the delivery truck. For offices, count the desks and meeting space needed and allow for air conditioning capacity in summer. Insulated units cost more to hire but keep stored materials and people usable through the hot months.
No rates can be quoted while there are no Abu Dhabi listings. Container hire is normally priced monthly with a minimum term, plus delivery and collection charged by distance and a fit-out charge for modified units. Confirm the minimum term, the delivery charge, the condition the unit must be returned in and whether VAT is included.
Demand is spread across the Mussafah and ICAD yards, KIZAD and Ruwais project sites, fit-out and event work on the island and Saadiyat, and farms in Al Ain and Al Dhafra. No supplier is listed in any of these areas today; the request form with a delivery address is the fastest route to those that cover it.
No containers are listed in Abu Dhabi today, so there is no rate to quote. When units are listed, the monthly rate will be shown on the listing where the supplier publishes it. Expect a minimum term, delivery and collection charged by distance, and extra for air conditioning, insulation or a custom fit-out. Post a request to get quotes now.
A 20-foot dry box covers most tool and material storage; a 40-foot box suits bulk storage where there is room for the truck. Site offices need insulated, air-conditioned units sized by the number of desks. Refrigerated units are for food and pharmaceuticals, and converted units for workshops, canteens or guard rooms.
Containers have no operator. The supplier's driver places the unit with a side-loader or crane truck and the renter uses it from then on. For refrigerated units the supplier may offer a technician for setting up the cooling unit and a call-out service for faults, which should be agreed in advance.
Rarely. Containers are hired by the month with a minimum term, because delivery and collection are the main cost. For a one-day need, such as an event, some suppliers offer weekly rates; ask when posting the request and state the dates clearly.
No supplier is listed in Abu Dhabi today, but suppliers in other emirates deliver here, with the charge based on distance from their yard. Remote sites in Al Dhafra and Ruwais cost more to serve, so longer hires make better sense there. A request with the delivery address reaches the suppliers who cover it.
A level, compacted pad or concrete blocks at the corners so the doors open and close properly, with clear access for a side-loader or crane truck. Site office units also need a power connection and, where there is no mains supply, a generator sized for the air conditioning load in summer.
