JCB Boom Loaders for Sale in the UAE

29 JCB boom loaders are listed for sale in the UAE today by 5 suppliers, 1 of them verified. All 29 are used. Twenty-eight are in Sharjah emirate, 18 of them in Al Hamriyah and 10 in Sharjah city, and one is in Zayed City, Abu Dhabi.

A boom loader is a telescopic handler: a loader with a long boom that lifts and places loads at height and reach. The UAE has 30 boom loaders for sale in total, and JCB accounts for nearly all of them. JCB has 61 machines for sale across the UAE in all categories.

JCB Boom Loaders Models Listed

The Loadall range is named by lift height and capacity, and the listings use this naming:

• 540-170 (14 listings, plus 5 written as 540/170): the most common model here, about 4 tonnes capacity with a lift height of about 17 metres.
• 535-140 (5 listings): about 3.5 tonnes with about 14 metres of lift.
• 535-125, 540-140 and 540-200 (1 each): smaller and larger variants in the same family.

Years run from 2008 to 2018: 2014 (6), 2018 (5), 2008 (4), 2012 (4), 2013 (3) and 2010 (2). In use, these machines place pallets of blocks, lift roofing sheets and cladding, and load materials onto upper floors on building sites.

Prices

Only 2 listings show a price, which is too few to give a typical figure or a range. Suppliers set the price by age and hours, and give it when you call.

Ask each supplier for a quote in AED with VAT stated. The UAE used equipment price guide shows market levels for the machine types with enough priced listings.

What to Check Before Buying a JCB Boom Loader

• Boom wear pads and telescoping smoothness, plus any play when the boom is fully out.
• Hydraulic hoses and cylinder seals along the whole boom.
• The load chart in the cab and the stability indicator, which must work.
• The attachment carriage and the forks or bucket supplied with it.
• Tyres and axle condition, since rough ground wears them quickly.
• Hours against the model year, and the engine on a cold start.

With five suppliers across 29 listings, many are likely to be near-identical machines, so compare hours and condition, not just price. Ask to see the machine lift a load at full reach, as that shows more about the boom and the hydraulics than a walk-round does.
