All three ads show a price, but three figures are too few for a typical one, and none states a brand, so ask each supplier for the make, year, axle layout and the price in AED, and whether VAT is added.
A box trailer is an enclosed trailer with a fixed body and doors, which keeps cargo dry and secure on the road. Companies use it for tools, spare parts, goods, site stores and mobile workshops, where an open flatbed would expose the load. Compare body length and height, the number of axles, the door type, floor condition and the coupling. Start from the longest and tallest item, then add room for loading and strapping. Standard lengths suit pallets and tools, while longer bodies carry bulky cargo. Check the internal dimensions rather than the external ones, and ask the supplier for the axle load and the maximum payload.
Look at the floor for rot or damage, the roof and walls for leaks and dents, and the doors, seals and locks. Check the axles, brakes, tyres and suspension, the lights and the coupling. A road trailer must be registered, so ask for the ownership and registration papers and confirm the chassis number.
A box trailer used on public roads needs its own registration, which must be transferred to the buyer, and the towing vehicle must be suitable for its weight. Ask the supplier whether the listed trailer is registered and valid, and confirm the papers before paying.
Two are in Fujairah and one is in Dubai. Fujairah is on the east coast, so travelling from the west of the UAE takes longer. Ask each supplier to send photos and a short video of the inside, and agree who pays for any transport before you commit.
