Hitachi Machines for Sale in the UAE

Thirteen Hitachi machines are listed for sale in the UAE today, from 8 suppliers, one of them verified. All 13 are used. Ten are in Sharjah and three are in Dubai.

The stock splits cleanly in two: excavators for earthmoving and crawler cranes for lifting.

Hitachi Machines Listed

By category, the listings are Excavators (9) and Cranes (4). The excavators include one wheel excavator, and all four cranes are crawler cranes. One listing names its model, a ZX140 from 2016. Other models and years are not stated, so ask the seller. The full market across all brands is on the buy page.

• ZX140: a Hitachi excavator in the 14-tonne class. It is a practical size for utility trenches, road widening, culverts and loading trucks on mid-size jobs.
• Wheel excavator: a wheeled machine that can drive itself between locations on road. This suits urban works, such as drainage and service repairs, where tracks would damage the surface.
• Crawler cranes: lattice-boom cranes used for piling support, steel erection and heavy lifts on prepared ground. Ask for the rated capacity, the boom length supplied and the crane's load chart.

Prices

Only one listing shows a price, so there is no basis for a range. Contact each supplier for a quote. Excavator prices follow size, hours and undercarriage wear, and crane prices follow capacity, boom length and inspection history, so the two cannot be compared with each other.

What to Check Before Buying Hitachi

Excavators: undercarriage wear, boom and arm pins, swing bearing play and hydraulic pump response. Wheel excavator: tyres, axles and outrigger or blade operation. Crawler cranes: boom sections for damage, wire rope condition, hoist brakes and the load limiter. Hours: compare the meter with the service record, and be careful when records are missing. Papers: ownership, serial numbers and, for cranes, an inspection certificate. Supplier: only one of the 8 is verified, so inspect machines in person.

Compare with Other Brands

Hitachi's 13 listings compare with Caterpillar (127), Komatsu (75), JCB (61), Volvo (46), Mercedes (29) and Hyundai (29) in the UAE as a whole. Hitachi is a stronger name in excavators than in other categories.
