No pipe layers are listed for sale in Abu Dhabi today. A pipeline contractor who needs a sideboom for a job in the emirate can post a purchase request with the lift capacity and pipe diameter; it reaches verified sellers across the UAE, including those whose machines are between contracts and not advertised. The national pipe layers for sale page lists every machine in the category, the Dubai and Sharjah pages are the nearest to check, and the Abu Dhabi buy hub covers the other categories.
A pipe layer is a tracked tractor with a side boom, winches and a counterweight that lifts and lowers welded pipe strings into the trench. Abu Dhabi's oil, gas and water transmission work around Ruwais, Habshan and the Al Ain corridor is where these machines earn their keep. A pipe layer is tracked plant rather than a registered road vehicle, so the sale is completed with a signed agreement or invoice quoting the serial number, the seller's trade licence copy and proof of payment. Ask for the load chart, the most recent lifting inspection, service records and any import papers, and put VAT and transport terms in writing.
