Need equipment? Have equipment?
Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No milling machines are listed for hire in the Makkah Region today. Cold planers are specialist road machines that usually travel from a supplier's yard to each resurfacing contract, so an empty page here does not mean the streets of Jeddah, Mecca and Taif go without them.
A rental request giving the road area, the cut depth and the dates reaches verified suppliers across Saudi Arabia. The Saudi-wide milling machine page shows national listings, and the Riyadh and Dammam Eastern Province pages cover the other regions. Other categories for hire here are on the Makkah Region hub.
Finding a planer through EquipmentsFinder is free for the renter, with no commission on the hire. When a supplier lists a cold planer, the listing shows the model, drum width, year and base, with a phone and WhatsApp number for booking direct. Until then, the posted request works the other way round: suppliers read it and call the renter.
Small planers with the drum at the side or rear, built for patch repairs, utility trench reinstatement and work around manholes and kerbs in older streets such as those of Al Balad.
The general machine for resurfacing city streets and junctions, with a front conveyor that loads planings straight into a tipper. They suit night shifts where one lane is closed at a time.
Full-lane machines for expressways, airport aprons and long highway sections, where output per shift decides the programme. They need a low-bed for transport and a steady line of trucks.
Width and depth set the machine. A narrow drum suits patching and edges; a full-lane drum is wasted on a junction repair and costly to move. Depth follows the pavement design: planing off a wearing course is shallow work, while removing failed base layers takes more power and more passes.
Before asking for a quote, measure the area, note the depth the engineer has specified, and decide whether the planings are to be trucked away or kept for recycling. Ask about drum condition and pick wear, since worn picks leave a rough surface the paving crew then has to correct.
No rate can be quoted while nothing is listed in the region. Suppliers set their own prices and publish them on the listing where they choose to, in SAR, by the shift, day, week or month. Picks, operator, low-bed transport, fuel, VAT and any minimum hire are confirmed with the supplier.
When listings appear here, they will serve the corridors where resurfacing happens: Jeddah Islamic Port and Al Balad, the Al Hamra and Corniche district, the airport zone and North Jeddah, Obhur on the northern coast, and the road networks of Mecca and Taif. No supplier is listed as based in any of these places today.
Road-work requests from other contractors are on the inquiry board. Planers for purchase are on the milling machines for sale page.
No milling machine is listed for hire in the Makkah Region today, so there is no local rate to quote. Once planers are listed, any price a supplier publishes will show in SAR on its listing. For now, post a request with the area, cut depth and dates; suppliers reply with a figure and normally itemise low-bed transport, operator and picks separately.
Start from the area and the specified depth. Patch repairs, trench reinstatement and work around ironwork suit a compact planer. City streets and junctions suit a mid-size machine with a loading conveyor. Long highway or apron sections need a large-format machine and a steady line of tippers. A supplier given the measurements and depth can confirm the class.
Each supplier decides, and says so on the listing or when contacted. Specialist planers are often hired with the supplier's own operator, because drum settings and levelling controls take experience. Heavy equipment operators need a valid licence for the machine class, so check the operator's licence and agree working hours, night shifts and overtime before booking.
Short hires are possible where the supplier agrees, often for a night of patching or a single junction. Transport by low-bed is charged whatever the length of hire, so a one-day job costs more per hour than a week of work. Grouping several small areas into one booking spreads that transport charge across more output.
No supplier is listed in the region today, so there is no coverage to report. Planer fleets based elsewhere in Saudi Arabia can move machines into Jeddah, Mecca, Taif and King Abdullah Economic City on a low-bed, with the move priced by distance. A request naming the site location lets each supplier quote the journey.
Give the area in square metres, the depth the engineer has specified, the road type and the dates or shift times. Say whether planings are to be loaded into trucks the renter supplies or removed by the supplier, and whether an operator is needed. With those details a supplier can choose the machine and quote without a site visit.
