No lifting equipment is listed for hire in Bengaluru today. Hoists, winches, jacks and rigging gear are needed for plant moves, installs and shutdowns. Post a request with the load and the site, and suppliers can reply with a quote in INR. Owners can list their gear free.
Suppliers publish items and agree terms with the hirer by phone or WhatsApp. EquipmentsFinder charges hirers nothing and takes no commission. Ask whether the price covers delivery, a test or inspection certificate and GST.
Machine installation is the main use. Factories in Peenya move presses, lathes and panels, and a gantry with a chain hoist or a set of jacks and skates is often the only way into a crowded shop floor. On Hosur Road and in Electronic City, plants and data rooms bring in heavy equipment, such as generators, chillers and transformers, that has to be lifted onto plinths and roofs. Whitefield and ITPL offices fit out floors where heavy plant must go up in service lifts or through shafts.
Airport-side warehouses and hangars near Devanahalli need rigging for large cargo and machinery. For many of these jobs the gear is small, travels in a van and can be at the site within the day.
Check the rating. Every item has a safe working load, and it must never be exceeded. Ask for the load rating and for a current test or inspection certificate where the supplier provides one, and look over slings and shackles for wear.
Give the weight, the size, the lift height and the fixing point. A hoist needs a beam or tripod, a winch needs an anchor, and jacks need firm ground. Lifting should be done by trained people, so ask what guidance the supplier provides.
See the Bengaluru hub, the India lifting equipment page and lifting equipment for sale in Bengaluru. Kolkata has a separate page.
Nothing is listed, so no rates are shown. Suppliers price by item and by the day, week or month. Ask for delivery and GST to be shown.
Match the weight, height and fixing point. Hoists lift, winches pull, jacks raise in steps and slings connect the load.
It differs by supplier and item. Ask for the safe working load and any current certificate before dispatch, and check it on arrival.
Often yes, as many items are small. A minimum period may apply, so confirm it.
Coverage depends on the supplier and is stated in the listing or quote. Small items can reach most of the city quickly.
Usually gear is hired without one. Where machines are operated, operators need a valid licence for the machine class.
