Need equipment? Have equipment?
Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No cranes are listed for hire in India today. The India site has only just opened, so there are no mobile, crawler or tower cranes to browse yet. If a lift is planned, post a request and verified suppliers can reply with a quote.
Suppliers publish their cranes and renters contact them directly by phone or WhatsApp. The marketplace charges renters nothing and takes no commission. Prices will appear in INR where a supplier states them. Ask for a written quote that covers the crane, the operator, rigging, transport and GST.
Mobile, all-terrain and truck-mounted cranes drive to the site and set up quickly, which suits one-off lifts and short hires. Rough-terrain cranes are built for uneven, unpaved ground. Crawler cranes carry heavy loads on tracks and stay on large projects for weeks. Tower cranes serve tall buildings across a whole programme. Gantry cranes run on rails in yards and workshops, and spider (mini) cranes squeeze into interiors and tight courtyards.
Give the supplier the weight of the load, its dimensions, the radius from the crane to the load, and the height it must reach. Capacity falls as the radius grows, so a crane rated for a large load close in may lift far less at full reach. Always ask for the load chart.
Every crane lift on a construction site needs a lift plan. Rigging, a trained operator, a signaller and firm ground for the outriggers or tracks matter as much as the crane's rating. Operators need a valid licence for the crane class. Ask the supplier what they provide.
Ground bearing is the usual surprise. Outriggers and tracks put heavy loads on small areas, so check for fill, drains and basements under the crane's footprint, and keep clear of overhead lines. Suppliers with cranes can list them for free, and the inquiry board shows what renters are asking for.
The six India metro areas are Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. Larger cranes arrive in several loads, so transport and assembly weigh on the cost. See the India rental hub for other categories, or cranes for sale.
No rates are published because nothing is listed yet. Suppliers set their own prices by hour, day or month, and capacity, operator, rigging and transport change the total a great deal. Ask for each item to be priced separately, with GST shown.
Work from the heaviest load, the radius and the height, then check the crane's load chart at that radius. Add the ground conditions and access to the site. A supplier can recommend a type once these are known.
It varies by supplier. Many cranes are hired with an operator and some with a rigging crew, while others are dry hire. The listing or quote should say which. Heavy equipment operators need a valid licence for the machine class.
Often yes for mobile and truck-mounted cranes, and many lifts take a single day. Suppliers set their own minimum hire, and transport and assembly can cost more than the day itself. Ask about waiting time and overtime.
The operator needs a valid licence for the crane class, and crane lifts on construction sites need a lift plan. Other permits depend on the site, the client and the local authority, particularly for work near roads or power lines. Check these before the crane arrives.
Coverage depends on each supplier and is stated on the listing or in the quote. The site starts with six metro areas. Mobile cranes can travel by road to a site some distance away, but the charge rises with distance and bigger cranes arrive in several loads.
