Need equipment? Have equipment?
Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No lifting equipment is listed for sale in India today. EquipmentsFinder has only just re-opened India, and suppliers are still to come. If you need a hoist, winch or set of slings, post a purchase request with the load and the lift height, and sellers can answer directly.
Suppliers can list their stock free. Buyers will see your phone and WhatsApp details on every listing.
When listings arrive, browse by item, read the seller's description and contact the supplier. Certificates, delivery and price are agreed with the seller. EquipmentsFinder charges buyers nothing and takes no commission. For cranes, the category is separate from this one.
Safe working load (SWL) is the most a piece of gear may lift in normal use. It should be marked on the item, and the figure on the tag should match the certificate. Never buy lifting gear that has lost its identifying marks, and never choose a rating that your load only just fits. Ask the seller for the SWL, the test certificate and the date of last inspection.
Manual hoists are cheap and need no power, but they are slow for frequent lifts. Powered hoists save labour on repeated work and need a suitable supply and a support beam rated for the load. For warehouses and workshops that lift every day, powered usually repays the cost.
Typical buyers are factories, warehouses, steel and fabrication yards, builders and maintenance contractors. For all of them, a record of inspection and testing is as important as the item itself, because an uncertified sling or hoist can be refused on a well-run site. Ask for the paperwork before you pay.
Prices in India are shown in INR and are set by each seller. There are no listings, so no figures can be given. Compare quotations that say whether GST, certification, a chain length or rope length, and transport are included.
Listings will be organised under Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. Slings and hoists are light enough to be couriered, so a seller in another city is often practical. For a single job, lifting equipment for rent is an alternative.
Prices vary with type, rating, make and condition, and sellers set them. None are listed yet. Ask for quotations in INR and compare them with certification stated.
Start with the heaviest load, the lift height, the way the load is attached and the working environment. Choose a rating with a margin over that load, and put the figures in your request.
New gear comes with a test certificate. Used gear can be sound, but wear on chains, hooks and ropes is hard to judge, so inspect it closely and ask for recent testing. Retire anything doubtful.
Yes, arrange it with the seller. Check hooks for opening, chain for stretch and links for nicks, rope for broken wires, and test the brake and gearbox.
A tax invoice with GST details and the test or inspection certificate. Ask the seller what other papers apply to your site.
Cranes have their own category. This one covers hoists, winches, jacks and rigging.
