There is no lifting equipment listed for rent in Jaipur today. Local suppliers have yet to join the India site, so anyone needing a forklift, hoist or set of slings can post a request, and owners can list their gear free. See also the India lifting equipment page.
Factories and warehouses at Sitapura and Mahindra World City shift pallets with forklifts and install plant with chain blocks and jacks. Stone and marble yards handle blocks and slabs that are too heavy to move by hand. In the heritage areas, restoration crews sometimes need a small hoist where no crane could ever reach.
The heading covers forklifts, chain blocks and hoists, building-site goods hoists, hydraulic jacks, slings, shackles and spreader beams. Some of it is sold as machines and some as accessories, so describe the job, not only the product.
Give the weight, the lift height and the floor or ground the load crosses. For slings and shackles, request the rated working load and a test certificate, and refuse anything without one. Mention if the work is inside a building or in a narrow lane, because that decides whether a forklift will fit at all.
Smaller items travel by pickup, and a forklift often needs a trailer. Ask who unloads at your end, particularly in the walled city where vehicles cannot always get close. Terms are normally by the day, week or month, with delivery, any site-hoist erection and GST agreed on top. For purchase options, see lifting equipment for sale in Jaipur or the Jaipur hire hub.
Hire rates for lifting equipment in Jaipur stay unstated until a supplier lists one. Capacity, duration, delivery and certification all affect the price, so request a breakdown that includes GST.
Begin with the load weight and the height, then check each item's rated limit. A supplier can advise once you describe the building and the floor.
You should. Reliable owners provide one, and the rating on the item must be at least what your lift needs.
Short hires are common for forklifts, though delivery cost may matter more than the daily rate. Ask Jaipur suppliers for the shortest lifting item hire period.
Sometimes. Confirm it in the quote, and make sure the person has been trained on that exact machine.
