Need equipment? Have equipment?
Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No container stackers are listed for hire in India today. Reach stackers, empty container handlers and laden container handlers will appear here once suppliers list them. If a yard or terminal needs one, post a request and verified suppliers can reply with a quote.
Container stackers move and stack shipping containers in ports, rail yards, inland depots and warehouse compounds. Suppliers will list their machines with lifting capacity and stacking height, and renters contact them by phone or WhatsApp. The marketplace charges renters nothing and takes no commission. Prices will show in INR where a supplier states them.
Hire suits seasonal peaks, a temporary yard or a gap while a purchased machine is delivered.
A reach stacker lifts containers over several rows and handles both empty and loaded units, so it suits mixed work. An empty container handler is built for lighter, empty boxes and can stack them high at lower cost. A laden container handler is built for fully loaded containers and has the structure and counterweight to match.
Lifting capacity must cover the heaviest laden container with the spreader fitted, and the capacity falls as the boom reaches out for the second or third row. Find out the stacking height you need and the row depth, then ask the supplier to check against the machine's load chart.
Handling laden against empty containers is the main decision. An empty handler is not made for loaded boxes, so be exact about what you will lift. Check the yard surface too: stackers are heavy and bear hard on the ground.
A stacker needs room to turn and a firm, flat surface, so look at the yard before booking. Marked lanes, pedestrian keep-out zones and clear sight lines reduce risk, and the spreader should be inspected before use. Suppliers with stackers can list them for free.
The six India metro areas are Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. Nothing is listed in any of them yet. These machines travel on a low-loader. See the India rental hub or container stackers for sale.
No rates are published because nothing is listed yet. Suppliers set prices by day, week or month, and a stacker is a large machine, so operator, fuel and transport are significant. Ask for each to be priced separately, with GST shown.
Give the heaviest container weight, the stacking height, the row depth and whether containers are laden or empty. Add the yard surface and the turning space. The supplier can then say whether a reach stacker or a handler fits.
It varies by supplier. Some provide a trained operator and others hire the machine alone. The listing or quote should say. The operator must hold a valid licence for the machine class, and a spreader needs a competent driver.
It is unlikely to be worthwhile, because moving a stacker on a low-loader costs a lot relative to a day's work. Suppliers set their own minimum hire and state it on the listing or in the quote.
There is no set radius. Each supplier states how far it delivers, and the charge rises with distance. A stacker needs a low-loader and sometimes an escort, so ask for the complete delivery and return cost.
Normally the machine comes with a spreader that suits standard containers, but this varies by supplier. The listing or quote should state it. Check the spreader type against the containers you will lift, and ask who is responsible for damage to it.
