Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No concrete pumps are listed for hire in India today. Boom pumps, line pumps and trailer pumps will appear here once suppliers list them. If a slab or column pour is booked, post a request and verified suppliers can reply with a quote.
A pump moves wet concrete from the mixer truck to the pour point, which saves labour and keeps the pour continuous. Suppliers will list their pumps and renters contact them by phone or WhatsApp to agree the date, time and price. The marketplace takes no commission and charges renters nothing. Prices will be shown in INR where a supplier states them.
Pumps are often hired per pour or per day rather than per month, so book early for the date you need.
A boom pump carries a folding arm on a truck and places concrete without any pipework on the site, ideal for high-rise floors and big slabs. A line (stationary) pump pushes concrete through steel pipes and hoses, good for basements and long horizontal runs. A trailer pump is towed to the site and suits smaller pours and places where a truck cannot go.
Match the pump to the volume per hour you need and the distance or height the concrete must travel. A boom pump is quick to set up when its reach covers the pour, but if the pour is deeper than the boom can reach, or the truck cannot get close, a line pump with pipes is the fallback.
Check the access: a boom pump needs firm, level ground for its outriggers, and overhead cables can rule out a boom. Tell the supplier the floor heights, the distance from where the pump will stand and the mix, because a stiff mix or a long run needs more pressure.
Agree the pour sequence with the concrete supplier so trucks arrive at a steady rhythm. A pump idling between trucks costs money, and a gap can leave a cold joint. Make sure there is a place to wash out the pipes and a route for the pump and trucks. Owners of pumps can list them for free.
The six India metro areas are Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. See the India rental hub for other categories, or concrete pumps for sale if you pour regularly.
No rates are published because nothing is listed yet. Suppliers set their own prices, often per pour, per hour or per day, and it varies with the pump type and the volume. Ask for mobilisation, pipes and waiting time to be included in the quote, with GST shown.
Give the supplier the volume, the hourly rate you want, the height and distance of the pour and the access to the site. They can then recommend a boom, line or trailer pump. Describe the mix too, since stiff mixes need more pressure.
Usually a pump is hired with its operator, because it is a specialist machine, but this depends on the supplier. The listing or quote should say. Confirm who supplies the pipes, the cleaning-out and the traffic marshalling.
Yes, pumps are commonly hired for a single pour. Suppliers set their own minimum charge and may bill by the hour after a set time. Ask what waiting time is allowed if the concrete arrives late.
The operator needs to be trained and licensed for the machine. Other requirements depend on the site, the client and the local authority, especially if the pump will stand on a public road. Check with the supplier and the site owner.
Prepare firm, level ground for the outriggers, clear access for the pump and the mixer trucks, a washout area, and a steady supply of concrete. Tell the supplier about overhead cables and tight turns early. The supplier can advise on pipes and the placing sequence.
