Need equipment? Have equipment?
Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No cranes are listed for sale in Mumbai today. Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai have no seller stock on the site yet. A buyer in Mumbai can post a purchase request giving the capacity and type, and owners can list a crane free. The India cranes page covers the other metros.
Once a crane is listed, the buyer phones or messages the seller, settles the INR price, inspection and delivery, and pays the seller directly. EquipmentsFinder charges buyers nothing and takes no commission.
Buyers include contractors on metro and coastal road structures, port and yard operators around JNPT, warehouse builders at Bhiwandi, and plant installers in the Taloja and Khopoli factories. Redevelopment towers also use tower cranes, often bought used or placed on long hire. The mix runs from compact units for tight plots to heavy cranes for cargo and bridge girders.
Mobile and truck-mounted cranes drive on the road and take varied lifts. All-terrain and rough-terrain cranes cope with poor ground. Crawler cranes carry heavy loads on tracks. Tower cranes serve building programmes, and gantry and spider cranes work in yards and interiors.
Buy on the load chart, not the headline tonnage. Capacity falls as radius grows, so check the lift at the radius you will use most, and the boom length and jib options. Lifts on construction sites need a lift plan and an operator licensed for the class.
A crane that has worked at the port or on the shore will have faced salt, which attacks wire rope, sheaves, pins and the structure. Ask for inspection and test records, the rope condition, the hours of the crane and its carrier, and any structural repairs. For a road-going crane, the vehicle papers must be checked too. An independent technician should look at it. For occasional lifts, compare with crane hire in Mumbai.
Large cranes move in several loads with escorts, usually at night within heavy-vehicle timing rules. Ask the seller about the plan and the cost. The Mumbai buying hub lists other categories.
No prices are published because nothing is listed. The seller decides the price, and type, capacity, age and hours change it widely. Ask for the INR price with GST status stated, and compare more than a single offer.
Work from the heaviest load, the radius and height needed most often, then check the load chart. Consider ground, street access and the time available. Once the numbers are known, a seller can suggest a suitable type.
A new crane comes with a warranty and full records, while a used one costs less but needs careful inspection. A used crane with complete service and test history can be reasonable. Compare with hire for rare lifts.
Ask the seller to allow it before payment. Have a technician check the boom, ropes, hydraulics and safety devices, and see it lift a test load.
The base document is an invoice or bill of sale carrying the serial number. A road-going crane also has vehicle papers. Ask the seller what applies, whether finance is outstanding, and what the GST position is.
Post a purchase request stating the crane type, capacity, budget and delivery point. Sellers who sign up can answer by phone or on WhatsApp. Posting is free.
