Need equipment? Have equipment?
Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No aerial platforms are listed for sale in Mumbai today. Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai have no seller stock on the site yet. A buyer in Mumbai can post a purchase request stating the lift type and working height, while dealers or owners can list a platform free. The India page for aerial platforms covers all six metros.
Mumbai buyers of lifts are usually facility teams, façade and glazing contractors, signage firms, and rental fleets. The city's buildings are tall and close together, so work at height is routine. A buyer should think first about where the machine will be stored and how it gets through the gate.
Scissor lifts suit podium floors, malls and warehouses. Articulating booms reach over parapets and obstacles on facades. Telescopic booms give long straight reach for tall frontages. Vertical mast lifts are narrow enough for corridors and goods lifts. Electric models need a charging point and overnight charge, while diesel models do rough ground and long outdoor days.
Working height and platform capacity come first, then the machine's width, weight and turning space. A podium slab may not carry a heavy diesel boom. Look at the emergency lowering, the tilt and overload alarms, the tyres, and the battery health on an electric machine. Sea air accelerates corrosion on the chassis and wiring, so check those carefully on any machine that has worked near the shore.
New machines come with a warranty. Used ones cost less and depend on a clean inspection and records. If the need is a one-off facade job, hiring in Mumbai avoids the cost of storage. Ask any seller for test and inspection certificates that apply.
A lift moves on a flatbed, and delivery into the island city must fit the timing rules for heavy vehicles. A seller at Bhiwandi or Taloja can say when it can arrive. Agree who unloads and who trains the first operators. See the Mumbai buying hub for other categories.
No prices are published because nothing is listed. Sellers set them, and age, hours, working height and condition move the figure widely. Ask each seller for the price in INR and whether GST applies.
Fix the working height, the platform load and the surface, then choose scissor, boom or mast and electric or diesel. Check the machine passes the doors and lifts on site.
New gives a warranty and records, used gives a lower outlay with more risk. A used lift with a documented service history and a clean inspection can be sound. Compare with hire for occasional use.
That is for buyer and seller to agree. Arrange to see it run, check the emergency lowering and the safety devices, and have a technician look at a large lift. Ask before paying.
An invoice or bill of sale with the serial number is the base record. Ask the seller which other papers apply and whether finance is outstanding, and confirm GST treatment.
Send a purchase request with the lift type, the working height, a budget range and where it should be delivered. Sellers who sign up can respond directly by phone or on WhatsApp. Posting is free.
