Need equipment? Have equipment?
Buyers post one request and get quotes from verified suppliers. Suppliers list free and reach active demand.
No generators are listed for sale in Delhi NCR today. Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad have no seller stock on the site yet. A buyer can post a purchase request with the rating and use, and dealers and owners can list a set free.
When a set is listed, the buyer calls or messages the seller, agrees the INR price, the inspection and the delivery, and pays the seller directly. The marketplace takes no commission and charges buyers nothing. The India generators page covers the category nationwide.
Diesel generators are the common choice for sites and backup. Silent or canopy sets are built into an acoustic enclosure for use near homes and offices. Portable generators are small, often petrol, and meant for tools and lights. High-capacity sets run a building, a factory or a data hall.
Power is rated in kVA and kW, and the two differ by the power factor. Add the running load and the starting surge of motors, then choose a rating with margin. Check whether the figure is prime or standby, because a standby rating cannot be used for long continuous running. Voltage, phase and an automatic changeover also matter. Hiring a set first is a way to learn the real load: see generator hire in Delhi NCR.
The hour meter on a diesel set matters, though hours alone can mislead, since long idling does harm. Look at the engine and alternator brand, oil and coolant leaks, smoke on load, the control panel and the battery. Ask for a load test, and for the service record. Fuel consumption at 75 per cent load is a good comparison across sets.
Residential societies and office towers in Gurugram buy standby sets. Factories in Manesar, Faridabad and Ballabgarh use them against supply interruptions. Noida and Greater Noida data and warehouse operators buy large units. Rules on diesel generator use can apply during poor-air periods in Delhi, so check what is allowed before choosing fuel and rating.

No prices are published because nothing is listed. Sellers set them, and kVA rating, make, hours and condition change the figure. Ask for the price in INR and whether GST applies.
Work out the running load and the largest motor start, then add margin. Decide on prime or standby duty, silent or open set, and voltage and phase. Tell the seller where it will stand.
New sets have a warranty and service support. Used sets cost less and need a load test and records. For regular standby use, many buyers prefer new for reliability.
Ask the seller to arrange it before payment. Request a load test, check smoke, leaks and the panel, and bring a technician for a large set.
An invoice or bill of sale with serial numbers is the base. Ask the seller what other papers apply and whether finance is outstanding, and confirm GST treatment.
Post a purchase request with the kVA, use and delivery point. Sellers who join can reply by phone or WhatsApp. Posting is free.
