Nothing in the lifting category is listed for rent in Phoenix today, as owners in the metro have not yet joined. A site supervisor who needs a lift can post a request, and an owner of forklifts or aerial platforms can list them free. Look at the national lifting page for the bigger picture.
Lifting equipment here means forklifts, scissor lifts, articulating and telescopic boom lifts, mast lifts and hoists: machines that raise people and materials rather than dig.
Huge distribution buildings across the West Valley need platforms for installing lights, sprinklers and racking. Data center and fab fit-out crews lift ductwork and cable tray, and resort and retail projects in Scottsdale rely on scissor lifts for ceilings. Sign installers, electricians and painters work from boom lifts all year.
Give the working height, horizontal reach, load and surface type. Electric lifts are quiet and clean indoors, and engine-driven ones are better outside.
Operators on platforms in July need frequent breaks and water, and a hot platform floor can burn skin. Batteries lose capacity when temperatures soar, so ask about runtime. Training for the specific class of lift is expected, and fall protection rules apply on boom lifts.
Say how wide the doors are, what the floor can bear and where the lift must be unloaded. To purchase instead, see lifting equipment for sale in Phoenix, or go to the Phoenix rental page.
A scissor lift on soft ground or a slope can tip, so confirm the slab rating and the grade. Electric units need a place to charge overnight. Near overhead lines, ask the owner about the minimum clearance that must be kept.
Without posted units there is no rate to quote. Height, power type and duration influence it.
Add a person's reach to the height of your work, then choose a unit that exceeds it.
Often the owner, for a fee. Confirm delivery and pickup in the quote.
Yes, for the specific machine class, and your supplier can often point you to local trainers.
Platforms have wind limits, and work must stop when gusts exceed them.
